(This is the slide that you can play on. We actually didn't go down it since we needed to head back...next time)
We went on another hike and this time we went to Kanaraville Falls. It was a fun hike and you follow the river to get to the waterfall. We enjoyed walking in the water, it kept us nice and cool on such a hot day. The only thing that I want to say about it is that we kept looking for a BIG waterfall so we just kept walking, and walking, and walking and I even went up ahead to see if I could find it. I started getting into thick, overgrown bushes and so we were getting close, but of course we never did get to the waterfall. After hiking for hours we decided we needed to start heading back before it got to late since we didn't want to be hiking in the dark. So when we finally got back to the car...we had been hiking for over 6 hours!! That was a long a tiring hike! The kids were so great and loved it even though it was long. Kalex wanted to get to the big waterfall even more than Tom and I. He was such a little trooper!! We just weren't prepared for that long of a hike and so hopefully another time will be better. Both Tom and I want to go again sometime and find the big waterfall, but I think we will go without the kids.
