First day of 1st grade!!

Kalex had his first day of school yesterday and was so excited. He woke up early in the morning and the first thing he did was get dressed! (it woke me up cause I could hear him ripping off the tags). He couldn't wait to wear his new school clothes. He enjoyed his first day and told me I did a great job on his home lunch. I have been worried about what to send him ever since he asked me to make him home lunches, but so far so good. He also really likes his new teacher Mrs. Wininger...she's great!!

I sure do miss my little bud and sending him to 1st grade has been so much harder than kindergarten! I don't like him being gone all day and Jace doesn't either! I'm just glad he is liking it so far...it helps me cope with it all. I love you Kalex! Good luck this year!!
