Nielsen Family Reunion 2010

My cute Grandparents!! They are the whole reason we get together! I love them so much and I am glad I was able to go! The highlight of the whole reunion was watching them dance!

(The picture is of my grandparents with 7 of their 8 kids. My one uncle couldn't make it to the reunion. My mom is in the middle with the orange shirt.)

The reunion was June 17th - 19th and was a "Circus" theme this year. We have it every year at our family reunion center where there is a Bowery, play ground, bath house, general store (kids love to save their pennies to buys stuff here), and post office. We have a secret family where we give them gifts for 2 of the days that we put in their box in the post office. It is alot of fun and the family works very hard to make it a nice place for everyone!

Just a little picture of us the night of the carnival. My darling niece Caybrie was our little girl for the night! She loved being with us! We had so much fun going to all the different games they had. We also enjoyed the yummy treats. The Nielsen's know how to have a fun time!! We had it all...Nacho's, Churro's, Ice Cream, Cotton Candy, etc.
Karissa and I both had Churros! Yummy! I love them!
Tom and Jace enjoying a BIG ice cream cone!
Jace and Aunt Karissa (my sis)
At the carnival one of the families had balloon animals that they were making for the kids! what a great idea! They all loved them so much! Jace has a hat, Caybrie and Kalex both wanted a sword.
Jace loved playing with his balloon hat.
The kids all love the "train" to take them for a ride around the farm.
Grandpa Hansen with Kalex and Caybrie on a 'train' ride.
They had so much fun playing. There is so much for them to do that the kids stay busy all day. They loved swinging, especially Caybrie.
My dad and I - love him!!!

Now the pictures below are some cupcake pops that we made for the reunion. In my ward we made these for a Relief Society Dinner. And since the reunion had a "Circus" theme, we thought they would be so cute at the reunion. It was also something we could make ahead of time and freeze, so we loved that. Especially since my mom and aunt were in charge of making dinner one of the nights to feed more than 100 people. It worked out great and everyone loved them!! Thanks Kristina for showing me how to make them!!

My Aunt Chris, Sister Karissa, and My Mom

My mom, sister, and Aunt came to help make them. We ended up making 130+ and we had some fun times!!
Karissa loved putting them all in little bags! all 130 of them! lol
and of course Jace wanted one and couldn't wait to eat it. He just loves them!! They are so Yummy!
