We had a fun 4th of July and enjoyed spending time with family. I wish we lived closer so we could see everyone more!!
The boys waiting for the parade to start in Moroni.
After the parade they rode in a tractor with Uncle Shane down to the dairy. They both loved it...of course!!!
Jace kept wanting to help him drive..haha!
After they made it to the dairy, Shane started to show them around. He took them to see the big cows and also to watch some being milked, but Jace didn't like it and wanted to get out of there!
He took them to see the baby turkeys and at least now Jace would touch one.
Kalex finally held a baby turkey. It has taken him a while, but he finally did it.
Then we took them to see the baby calves (my favorite!!). I started showing the boys how you can let the calf suck on your fingers and I ended up realizing I have city kids!! They didn't want anything to do with it! Kalex almost was going to until he saw me take my fingers out of its mouth and it was all slobbery so he thought that was gross! I grew up helping my brothers feed the baby calves all the time so this is a normal thing for me.
look at Jace...he is so scared in this picture! lol
On our way back home, we saw this cute Mater in Gunnison. We had to stop and get a picture which we did quite fast since it was raining. The boys loved seeing Mater!
This post made me laugh out loud! When you said Kalex was going to let the calf suck his fingers and then changed his mind when he saw you take yours out hahaha. so funny. i remember doing that it was so fun! maybe in time he will dare. looks like you guys had fun! miss and love you all!
