One Year Old!

I can't believe it has already been a year! Time has gone by so fast and Jace has changed so much since these newborn pictures. What a true blessing he has been for our family! The rough road we had along the way was worth it and he has been just what we needed. We have loved every minute of the past year watching Jace grow and learn new things. He is so full of life and can brighten our day with his smile!

He loved all his presents he got, but especially loved looking at the cards!

These are the cakes that me and my mom made for him. I did a "ZOO" birthday theme so these worked quite well. I just liked that they were simple compared to others we have made. (Thanks again mom for all your help!)

As you can see he LOVED his cake! He ate every last crumb and wanted more!

Jace is learning new things everyday and loves to explore. Here are a few things he is doing at the time.

• He says "mama, dada, bye-bye, hi, and ball"
• He loves to pretend he is talking on the phone by putting the phone to his ear and saying "Hi"
• He loves looking at books more than playing with his toys.
  
• He loves food and will eat anything we give him! (Kalex was a picky eater so Tom loves it that Jace eats anything!)
• He loves playing outside and going down the slide at the park. He cries anytime we go past until we stop to play.
  
• He loves playing with cars and makes a motor sound while he plays.
• He loves climbing on things.
• He plays peek-a-boo
• Loves clapping and doing patty cake
• Loves playing in water
• Loves to copy-cat sounds
  

He has been such a good baby and is so easy going. We are so happy he is apart of our family! We love you Jace!!
